Andrew Newton is a philosopher who worked in asset management for nearly ten years in ethics management roles.

His research focuses on the intersection of values and finance. He holds a law degree, an MBA from London Business School, a MA Philosophy from University of London and is currently completing a PhD focused on moral responsibility for the Global Economic Crisis. He authored “The Handbook of Compliance – Making Ethics Work in Financial Services” (Financial Times Pitman Publishing 1998).

Andrew has been teaching graduate finance students about ethics and ESG investing for several years, teaching regularly at Grenoble Ecole de Management, Warwick Business School, Rotterdam School of Management, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, and IESEG.
